Grenen, a natural wonder
Welcome to Grenen
Grenen is one of Denmarks biggest tourist attractions. Each year, about a million people visit the tip of Denmark to experience the light and the two seas that collide. But Grenen has even more to offer. The three-square-kilometer reserve area is full of wonderful nature discoveries in hilly dunes and extensive heath and moorland. You can look forward to lots of bunkers and other relics from World War II, enthralling tales of sailing and the sea at the treacherous Skagen's Reef, famous painters, art and culture. At the same time, Grenen is a paradise for rare birds and all the other animals that live here.
At Grenen, you will find nature trails that will guide you into the landscape. They have been thoughfully established to give you as many opportunities to discover all that Grenen has to offer. You are now standing at the start of the yellow route. The yellow route is 3 kilometers long and leads you all the way out to where the two seas meet - and back again. Along the way, you will pass by the famous poet Drachmann's tomb and the compass bunker, with its fabulous view of the tip of Grenen.
Happy trails!
