Grosser Tiergarten – Berlins Central Park full of historic sites and monuments. It is a great walk. Or, if you prefer, you can bring a bicycle.

The walk through Grosser Tiergarten - Berlin's "Central Park" begins just outside the park at Brandenburger Tor, one of Europe’s greatest symbols of division and reunification.
Before entering the greenery, we dwell a second at the Brandenburg Gate, and we also see Reichstag Building, both essential stops in any understanding of Berlin’s story.
From here, we step into the vast landscape of Grosser Tiergarten, Berlin’s beloved urban oasis, and begin exploring the many historic sites, royal stories, Cold War relics, artistic installations, and peaceful hideaways that make this park so unique.
The trick here is whether you want to end at the same place where you started, or if you just want to end up in a Biergarten. You will be rather acquainted and exhausted no matter which you choose.
